BEACH RESTORATION

pink sand

Extensive work after Hurricane Beth swept through the Bahamas last year had our resort back up and running just six weeks after the storm extensively damaged the central club facilities. Particularly hard-hit was our famous pink coral sand beach on the eastern edge of the island, which has taken longer to complete restore. Shangri-La is proud to announce that once again the entire beach is available for the pleasure of guests.

NEW PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Leigh Bettencourt

Shangri-La is pleased to announce that Leigh Bettencourt will be our guest instructor in our Pilates program this winter. Leigh has a Ph.D in physical therapy, and seven years of experience as a personal trainer in Los Angeles and Dubai.
